Liver diseases in children and adolescents are a significant arising public health issue should be surveyed from different dimensions (clinical para-clinical, psychological, socio-economic) diverse populations. Shiraz Transplant Center, Shiraz, Iran is the only center for pediatric liver transplantation its pre-operative evaluations. This provides unique valuable situation studying this vulnerable population. The Pediatric Cirrhosis Cohort Study (SPLCCS) was established to assess cirrhotic children, course of their disease, treatment over time. cohort study aimed prospectively evaluate natural factors that contributed complications death with chronic disease region. SPLCCS launched September 2018 after obtaining ethical approval; until August 2022, 370 end-stage were enrolled followed every six months. Here, cohort’s features, included population’s baseline characteristics, primary outcomes reported.
